About 1.5 hours from setup through the live performance and cleanup. Parties of 30+ guests get two chefs.

How far in advance should I book?

2 to 4 weeks ahead is ideal, especially for weekends and holidays. Menu and guest count can be adjusted up to 5 days before the event.

Rain or shine, the show goes on. Customers must provide a covered outdoor area (tent, garage opening, or covered patio). Weather-related cancellations inside 48 hours are the customer's responsibility.

What's the cancellation policy?

Cancellations or reschedules require at least 48 hours of notice. Inside that window, a $200 fee applies.

Are your chefs licensed and insured?

Every chef is professionally trained, licensed, and carries full liability insurance. Food prep originates from certified commercial kitchens, and our equipment meets local safety standards.

What about travel fees?

$50 within 50 miles of Philadelphia. Beyond 50 miles, add $2 for each additional mile. Travel is not included in the $500 party minimum.

Do you offer any discounts?

Yes — 15+ guests Sunday through Friday save $50 with code week50off. Birthday parties of 15+ guests Monday through Thursday get 2 complimentary lobster tails with code birthdayfreelobster.

What is private hibachi at home?

Private hibachi at home is exactly what it sounds like — a trained teppanyaki chef comes to your backyard, driveway, or patio with a portable grill and cooks a full restaurant-quality meal in front of your guests. Real flames, real knife work, the onion volcano, the flying egg trick — the same show you get at a hibachi restaurant, but at your table.

You provide the tables, chairs, plates, and drinks. We bring everything else: the grill, propane, ingredients, sauces, tools, and the chef. The whole event runs about 1.5 hours from setup through the last plate. Groups of 30+ get two chefs so the timing stays tight.
